The postseason continues without the Yankees, sadly. The Dodgers took Game Two in the NLCS last night to tie up the series with the Brewers, but they have today off to travel. There will be a game in Boston, however.
The ALCS kicked off last night, and it was a long one. Chris Sale didn’t make it to the fifth, Justin Verlander got into a bases loaded jam and let the Red Sox tie things up, and Boston’s bullpen melted down. That bullpen is unbelievably bad. It is seriously a shame that the Yankees didn’t get to it more often.
David Price will take the mound tonight opposite of Gerrit Cole. It’ll be Price’s first appearance since the Yankees knocked him around last weekend. Will he be able to turn things around, or will the postseason narrative live on? I’m hoping for the latter.
If you can stomach it, tune in tonight to find out! The game starts at 7:09 ET and you can follow along on TBS.
